A compendium is a structured knowledge document extracted from a podcast episode. It contains an overview, key insights with citations, best quotes, action items, speaker bio, key terms, sources, and further reading recommendations.
Which podcast platforms are supported?+
YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and direct MP3 file uploads.
How long does it take to generate a compendium?+
YouTube and Spotify episodes typically take 30-60 seconds. Apple Podcasts and MP3 uploads take 2-3 minutes as they require audio transcription.
How many free compendiums do I get?+
Every new account gets 3 free compendiums. After that, upgrade to Pro for £6/month for unlimited access or pay per use for only £1/compendium.
What is included in Pro?+
Unlimited compendiums, full 10-section documents including speaker bio, key terms glossary, sources and references, and further reading recommendations.
Can I download my compendium?+
Yes — every compendium has a Download PDF button.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?+
Email us at hello@mycompendium.app and we will cancel your subscription within 24 hours. You will retain Pro access until the end of your billing period.
What if a podcast episode doesn't work?+
Some episodes may not have publicly available transcripts or audio. Try finding the same episode on a different platform, or use the MP3 upload feature.
